My Honest Review of QuickLotz (A Target Resale Store!)

If you are like me and you LOVE Target but not Target prices, this information is for you. I found a Target resale store in my area called QuickLotz and I quickly became obsessed. They have multiple locations in Texas and they operate on a bins/pallet system.

I’ve been invited into the store after hours as an influencer, but I’ve also gone as a private shopper so I’ve seen both sides.

If you look online, the reviews are all over the place, from one star to five star and everything in between. If you go on the wrong day or at the wrong time or not knowing what to expect, you will have a one star experience.

This is my honest opinion on everything. If you follow the pro/con list below, you are much more likely to have a five star experience!

They have amazing items on Fridays and Saturdays. Always go on these days (preferably at opening). There is more on the floor at this time, although they do restock throughout the day. Friday and Saturday will be your highest quality items for $14 each.

The item quality - along with the price - goes down every day after Saturday. If you go on Thursday everything will be less than $1, but it’s basically Target Dollar Spot items and broken items.

The furniture is always an additional 50% off of the tag price (which is already down from what Target charges).

Sometimes the furniture is damaged, so you need to inspect it before you purchase. Most of the selection I saw could be fixed, but some of the items seemed beyond repair.

They have children’s furniture, clothes, toys, shoes, and more.

I feel the toys are a bit overpriced for my taste. It’s almost as much as you would pay in store or on Amazon. For this reason I’m a bit more hesitant to shop in this section.

They have great designer options at great prices. Just yesterday I saw a purse that was in store for $75 but originally $800. They also have designer sunglasses for really cheap! In their clothing section they have non-designer and designer clothes that are marked WAY down.

They do not have a changing room. Be prepared to purchase and hope for the best.

They post glimpses of what will be on the floor the next day on their social media.

There’s only going to be some of those items, and you have to get there EARLY if you’re aiming to get something specific you saw them post. If you saw it and wanted it, chances are someone else did too.

You can shop for yourself or resale. Some of these items would probably go for more money on something like Facebook Marketplace if you wanted to take the time to resell it. (I actually asked an employee their thoughts on it, and they said they know it happens and don’t mind!)

You are fighting against the resellers who will grab anything and everything out of the bins without caring what they get.

There is a huge variety - furniture, clothing, home items, shoes, baby clothes, toys, etc. They do have electronics like TVs and cellphones, but I’ve never purchased any of those items so I can’t speak to their quality. They have an outlet station so you can make sure everything works when plugged in before you purchase.

It’s a BIG crowd - especially at openings on Friday and Saturday, so get there early and prepare for it to be a little pushy inside.

You literally never know what they will have. Every time I go in I’m shocked at some of the amazing items I see. It’s a fun experience to be surprised by the deals!

You shouldn’t go in with any expectations or wanting one specific thing. When you first walk in at opening, they will uncover the bins that are on the floor and chaos ensues. If you stay throughout the day for the restocks, they will wheel out more bins and the same process happens all over again.

I can honestly say that I found my trips to QuickLotz worth it. If you know what you’re getting in to and go in with an open mind, you can find some really great deals!
