1. @MaggieMcGaugh (591K followers)

Shameless plug, I know. But, if you like affordable home hacks, furniture flips, and room makeovers, my account won’t disappoint! You can click here to follow me on Instagram for endless DIY inspo. My account started as nothing but furniture flips, but now I share hacks on hiding eyesores in your home, how to find things in the trash, and much more. If you want allll of the information on flipping furniture, you can check out my e-course here.

2. @spetrichhome

Stephanie brings a mix of huge projects, small projects, mom humor, and even recipes. She’s gone viral countless times and has gained quite the following. She doesn’t shy away from colors or textures. If you follow her, you’re sure to see lots of wallpaper and how-to tutorials for even the newest of DIYers.

3. @a.dabbled.dwelling

Kelsey preaches that loving your home is more important than tolerating things or obsessing over resale value. She mixes some trending ideas with classic AND bold ideas. She’s currently fixing up an outdate home, so you’ll primarily see fixer upper, room makeover, and more home-focused content on her page. While her following has grown, her account still has that “small account” vibe that makes you feel like you’re following a real person.

4. @olivegreyavenue

Ruth and her husband may have kids, but if you’re looking for mostly kid-free DIY content, theirs is a great option. They focus on achievable home projects, occasional date night/marriage content, and even some interior design inspiration. They’ve also been known to share some great Amazon finds. Watch the video above to see one of their projects that went viral— how to make a garden bed out of cinder blocks!

5. @mrsashleyfrench

While most DIYers focus on the big reveals, Ashley truly TEACHES. Her reels may explain how to pick a paint color, how to cut tile, or how to hide wood grain when painting cabinets. Her account is a fantastic choice if you’re looking to learn rather than just be inspired. Better yet, you’ll be BOTH. I’ve learned quite a bit from her account, and I’m sure you will, too.

6. @crystelmontenegrohome

Crystel first landed on my radar when her sweet daughter was facing major medical problems. I was drawn into her personality, family, and especially her skillset. While she definitely pulls from the trends, her designs are timeless and stunning. If you’re wanting to follow someone who shows true quality, Crystel is a great choice. Her DIY stone range hood is one of my personal favorites.

7. @the_handcrafted_haven

Mary’s Instagram is very versatile. She shares giant Kerplunk one minute and a furniture flip the next. She’s had countless viral videos, and you’ll be inspired daily by her easy projects and fun stories. She’s tempted me to buy some things on Amazon, as well. If you haven’t followed her yet, what are you waiting for?!

8. @thefurnituredr

Lilly’s account grew very quickly very fast— and I’m not surprised. Her projects are inspiring, and her voiceovers and personality are entertaining and will draw you in. As made obvious by her username, her account is focused on furniture flips. Whether she thrifts them or finds them for free, the transformations will make your jaw drop. I’m also a sucker for influencers who disclose their income. She’s an open book about how much she makes!

9. @laurenelizabethburke

Lauren doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk! Her work is stunning, and you’ll be tempted to gut your entire house in no time. I can’t possibly pick a favorite project, but I love her rainbow accent ceiling shown in the above video. Don’t forget to check out her black tile shower. I am a sucker for a dark room… and Lauren’s account in general. Be sure to check her out.

10. @lakeandlumber

It’s no surprise over 200,000 people are following Melissa. The video above got over 1.3 million LIKES. That’s wild! She’s a DIYer with ADHD, so you may see a wide array of projects and timelines. The variety makes it even more fun to follow along. Will she post about gardening today? A bedroom for her kids? An Amazon hack? Who the heck knows. But I know I don’t want to miss it!
